Recall Uninstall Option In Windows 11 Is A Bug

Microsoft confirms its recall uninstall option in Windows 11 is a bug, as reported by The Verge. The change was spotted last week in the Windows 11 24H2 version, with KB5041865, as it offered the ability to Recall uninstall to Turn Windows feature on and off. but it was just a glitch that Microsoft will soon fix.

The Recall feature is an upcoming feature of Windows that will take screenshots of what you do on the computer and can be turned on or off but cannot be uninstalled. The Recall uninstall was added before Recall itself and is just a bug.

The Recall feature is controversial, and Microsoft has delayed the feature as it was supposed to debut with Copilot Plus PCs, but security concerns were raised. Microsoft says that the feature will soon be available after they make some changes to Recall.
