PlayStation will unveil a new State of Play emphasizing Final Fantasy XVI, displaying more than 20 minutes of new recorded gameplay. Sony announced its broadcast date on Thursday, April 13, at 2 pm PT/5 pm ET.
As per the information in a blog post, PlayStation will touch on FF16’s dark fantasy settings, Eikons and Dominants, the people who can host them, “the flashy combat system presented in recent trailers,” and more.
With Final Fantasy 16’s launch, Square Enix has launched a stable stream of information about the game. It will take 80 hours to complete, and we understand its dark fantasy setting with action-based battles, contrasting to turn-based combat featuring big Eikons. The producer of FF16, Naoki Yoshida, said the team went ahead for a more action-oriented direction to capture young players.
Final Fantasy XVI is ready to be introduced on June 22 for PlayStation 5. It will last a PS5 exclusive for about six months. However, Yoshida said players shouldn’t expect a PC version immediately after the exclusivity expires. “I will tell you clearly that the PC version will not come out in half a year,” Yoshida said.
