On Monday, December 9 OpenAI release Sora – the AI model creates videos from text prompts available to ChatGPT Plus and Pro users as Sora Turbo without any additional charges. The OpenAI company launched Sora in February; at that time it was only accessible to designated artists, filmmakers, and safety testers.

Sora is a text-to-video generator tool that generates AI video clips using text prompts. The ChatGPT and Sora AI maker seeking to compete with AI tools from companies like Meta and Google, which released Lumiere and Stability AI’s Stable Video Diffusion.

In a blog post, OpenAI said; we are working on tailored pricing for different types of users which we plan to make available early next year.

Moreover, OpenAI release Sora and said that yet Sora is not available for users from EU countries, Switzerland, and the UK due to copyright issues. However, this AI software is accessible in other regions where ChtaGPT is available. The company also said that it would primarily block the making and uploading of content with nudity and abuse like child sexual abuse materials and sexual AI deepfakes.
