In an effort to prevent the sharing of inappropriate content on Instagram, the company is introducing a new feature called “Post Scheduling.” The new tool allows you to set a time when your posts will appear on the app and avoid seeing those from people you don’t follow. The product head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, wrote on Twitter that the feature has been rolling out over the past few weeks. According to him, it is now available in all markets except Japan and South Korea.

ToggleAn Instagram App Now Lets You Schedule Posts
It was announced by Instagram head Adam Mosseri on 8 November 2022, calling the feature a “final feature.” In Mosseri’s opinion, Instagram should have introduced this post years ago, but it awaits.
Users can schedule Instagram posts up to 75 days in advance with the new feature. In addition, it is only available to users who have business or creator accounts on the platform.
On 8 November, the Android version of the scheduling feature was released. According to Instagram’s official Twitter account, iOS users will receive the feature shortly.
In order to schedule a post on Instagram, users need to follow the usual steps for posting a video, carousel, or image. The Advanced settings can be accessed at the bottom of the screen at the end of the flow before publishing. If you have access to this feature, you will see a toggle option to schedule this post.
When you toggle the scheduling feature, you will be able to choose a date and time up to 75 days in the future. You can view and edit scheduled content using your profile by selecting the Scheduled Posts option under the More menu.
Creators who want to access the feature should switch their Instagram profiles to professional accounts. If you want to manage your personal and professional accounts separately, you may want to open multiple Instagram accounts.
Scheduling Made Easy on Instagram
Schedules on Instagram are now easier with the new update. However, social media managers may still find third-party tools useful, but Instagram’s new scheduling feature makes it easier to handle your feed.
