Google is Eliminating Continuous Scroll in Search Results

Google has been doing spring cleanings for a while now; during this time, it clears or shuts down products. This time, Google is eliminating continuous scroll in search results, as reported by Search Engine Land. According to Google, this alteration will let Google serve results faster, and users will receive a quicker response this way.

This user interface was liked by many users. It is used to enable users to keep scrolling, and pages will keep loading with no need to open each page manually. This was first announced for mobile devices’ search results on October 21. However, since users liked that interface, it was later introduced to search results for desktops in 2022.

However, a spokesperson said that Google is eliminating continuous scroll in search results from desktop search results today. In the upcoming months, it will be removed from mobile search results as well. In its place, Google will be bringing back the classic old Google’s pagination bar. It will allow the user to search manually and jump to the next page by clicking.

Google also plans to remove the feature for starting conversations with your business from Google Search or Google Maps. The news is that the chat function will be removed in Google Business, and you won’t be able to receive any new chat messages.
