The new season 4 has turned up, but a collection of Fortnite floating rings at Misty Meadows remind us that not everything has changed drastically, at least when it comes to the weekly task.
Fortnite has officially launched a Marvel-themed season for the first time, which marks the most significant crossover for the battle royale video game. This season of Chapter 2 also introduces a whole new battle pass, new weapons, and changes to gameplay mechanics, as well as a wide variety of Marvel-themed skins. A new set of challenges is also being released with the new season, which fans can complete to level up their battle pass and earn exciting rewards.
We are now well into Fortnite Season 4 week, and the latest set of challenges is quite exciting. At Misty Meadows, players must collect Floating Rings to complete one of the challenges. Here is how you can find the Floating Rings and complete the challenge in Fortnite.
What is Misty Meadows
Misty Meadows is a known location in the Fortnite battle royale that was first added to the map of season 1. It is located on the side of E7 & F7, southwest of the lazy lake, southeast of a slurpy swamp, and south of the spire. In addition, the town’s location is similar to happy hamlet, where many half-timbered buildings and beautiful landscape are sitting on a meadow.
Misty Meadows is one of the most known south-eastern locations on the map. It also contains all of the buildings from happy hamlet, although some of them have been significantly modified.
Where Are the Floating Rings at Misty Meadows?
The Fortnite location of the named point of interest has not been changed much in this season 4. So, if you have played in chapter 2, finding Mistry Meadows should not be too difficult. Misty Meadows is located south of the map, east of slurpy swamp, and west of catty-corner. It’s a named point of interest (POIs). If you have already discovered the map, you will know where to go.
The Misty Meadows Floating Rings Location
Before going on the floating ring location, evaluate the image above of where you are traveling. When you enter the location, the floating ring will not be visible because you must go close to them. In the above image, we have highlighted them in red to give you an idea of where they are available.
Misty Meadows is located on the tip of the southern island, and the four floating rings will have you charming running lakes around the wood houses. Fortunately, all the rings are on the top of the buildings and easy to spot when you get close. We realized that the best option was dropping off near the cabin far south of town and closest to the waterfall. While doing this, you can pick up a few items, scout out other players and even pick up your first ring. Here is the floating ring picking up location, so you can reach there by following our guide.
Far South of Town – Fortnite Floating Ring No 1
This ring is located so far from the three others, and it is such a headache. If you want it, you can go and construct a more staircase and grab the ring on the roof by jumping into the ring. You will avoid hiking across open terrain in densely populated areas by making this your drop point.
Outdoor Picnic Southeast – Fortnite Floating Ring No 2
Make your way into town for the next ring and stay on the ring’s eastern side. You will soon come across a small structure with a large roof overhanging an outdoor picnic area. The 2nd floating ring is up on the roof, so construct more structures to claim ring number two.
House Near the Water & Trees – Floating Ring No 3
A large house near the water is just across the street and a bit north. We recommend you go inside the floating ring and open a few chests while there rather than building ramps to reach it. In addition, other enemies are likely to be lurking around, and you will need a weapon to deal with the highly exposed final ring.
On the Clock Tower – Floating Ring No 4
One of the most difficult floating rings to find is the last one in Misty Meadows near the blue water and green mountains. It is situated on the highest point of the town – the clocktower. In addition, its roof is too steep for standing, so you will have to work your way up without falling off carefully. The clocktower’s side door is an excellent place to enter in case of danger. From here, it is simply a matter of destroying the interior structures and building a safe staircase to the top. In the end, you will need to go outside to claim the ring, so be careful as enemies will undoubtedly be waiting.
Floating Rings at Misty Meadows Fortnite Challenge
As you know, every game is incomplete without challenge. So, a challenge is available for passionate gamers for the misty meadow game. A task goes to the player with 25,000 XP, except for Doctor Doom’s challenge, which grants 50,000 XP. One of these challenges requires players to collect Floating Rings scattered throughout Fortnite Meadows, a task that players who completed all of last season’s challenges will be familiar with.
