The most immersive and best VR game of the year is The House of Da Vinci. Our (Hitech’s) team played this game on Meta Quest 3.
The Slovakian studio Blue Brain Games starts with a spectacular view of a river at dusk as it breezes through early 16th-century Florence. Upside there is a roof of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, an ornate white marble sculpture of a woman, ivy rising a balcony, and the church tower of the Badia Fiorentina rising magnificently. This level of visual reliability stays later in the atmospherically lit and richly decorated interiors of the artifacts you interact with throughout the game. All this makes The House of Da Vinci virtual reality a meal for hungers and is the best VR game of the year for standalone headsets.
However, the immersive gameplay of The House of Da Vinci is a classic escape room. You will play as Leonardo da Vinci and visit the inventor and artist in Florence. You have to solve puzzles in the secret rooms that involve mechanical devices and bizarre contraptions that you must manipulate with your hands and fingers. Magical lenses allow you to discover hidden codes, see through objects, and look into the past.
Well, neither I nor our team members finished this game yet but currently, we don’t have any complaints. The authenticity of the locations, objects, and machines, drawing inspiration from historical documents, original works of art, and Da Vinci’s inventions make The House of Da Vinci worth playing and the best VR game of the year. However, the thing I think is missing is variations and surprises in the puzzle design.
If you want to play the best VR game of the year in the comfort of your couch on cold winter nights The House of Da Vinci is a good option. Happy Gaming!
