Some of the Apple AI features require a paid subscription, like iCloud+ subscriptions. So, you may have to spend some pennies to get access to Apple’s cutting-edge AI-powered features on your iPhone.

According to the Bloomberg report, Apple AI will be free to launch, but Apple AI+ with additional features is not free, and to get access to the additional Apple AI features require a paid subscription. Moreover, Apple will also get a cut in revenue when a user uses the features of Apple’s AI partner, OpenAI ChatGPT, on iOS 18.

Apple also agreed on a deal with Google and Anthropic to provide AI services on its devices, which is expected to be announced when Apple Intelligence launches in the fall for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia.
